Music to write to… The Realm of Levitation

I’ve raved about Jo Blankenburg’s music since Nanowrimo 2012, so forgive me if I do another little rave. This time I’m in love with a song off his relaxation CD, Floatovations. [The title of the CD comes from ‘float’ and ‘ovations’ in case anyone was wondering].The track I love is called the ‘Realm of Levitation’ and I finally found a lovely youtube video that features it.

Prepare to be relaxed. đŸ™‚

Assassin’s Creed – an antidote to the post-nano slump

I have a few more reviews to catch up on, but I’m still reading the books in question so for today, I’m going to be lazy and just share an amazing video clip I found.

The music is composed by Mark Petrie and the video comes from Assassin’s Creed. For those who are not gamers, Assassin’s Creed is a video game and, wait for it, this whole sequence is an animation!

I haven’t played Assassin’s Creed myself, but I’ve seen it played and the in-game graphics are ‘almost’ as good as this animation. Is it any wonder that so many of us are hooked on games?
