Neural ‘cap’ and computer helps a man walk again

I just saw this on TV and  almost fell over as I honestly thought this technology would not be available for decades yet.

This technology offers real hope for thousands of paraplegics all around the world. Go the Naked Ape! For all our faults, we produce some wonderful, dedicated, compassionate human beings as well.

3D printed exoskeleton!

If you thought my post about 3D printing and special effects was astounding, watch this video showing a woman, paralyzed from the waist down, WALKING AGAIN!

I kid you not, this is real. You can read the full article here, and I’d like to thank 3D Print-news for bringing this incredible innovation to my attention.

If I were a religious person I’d call this a miracle. But I’m not, and it isn’t. This is humanity at its best, marrying technology to vision in a great cause. This is science fiction come to life.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt this good about being a human being!

cheers
