I am the kind of person who always has to know why things are the way they are so my interests range from genetics and biology to politics and what makes people tick.
For fun I play online mmorpgs, read, listen to a music, dance when I get the chance and landscape my rather large block.
Work is writing. When a story I am working on is going well I'm on cloud nine. On bad days I go out and dig big holes...

I love how people are getting creative. I know this is a terrible time, but there’s something so hopeful about how people are rising to the occasion. or maybe Netflix has run out of stuff to binge on. π
Most people can’t do what he can; I had a four-octave range not that long ago, but haven’t done much in the last year or so. If I start in the right place, I can sing Jesus Christ Superstar – which is pretty intense – or could.
His voice is pretty amazing. You should limber up your vocal chords and do some singing. Upload it to youtube or simply put in on your website.
I had a pretty good voice too until I had to have a partial thyroidectomy. Pretty much lost my upper register. Now I just sing when no one can hear me. π
Need to get some recording equipment set up, but I’ll add the idea to the list.
Since I’m planning to do my own audiobooks, this would be helpful. I just have so little time and energy, and have just really come back to the writing after the big move, I’m hesitant to get sidetracked until NETHERWORLD, and the yet to be named third volume are finished – and they are slow, like embroidery. Thinking LIMBO and PARADISE (the last eight chapters are almost am epilogue in themselves). I have SO much work to do.
I know that fear. After I finished Innerscape, I thought it might be a nice time to learn how to create paperbacks as well as ebooks. So I set out to learn, and teach others along the way. Then I realised I needed better covers so set out to create decent covers for the paperbacks…
I had lots of fun along the way, and two how-to books, but when I tried to go back to writing fiction, my brain wasn’t interested.
It’s only now that I’m starting to get a hint of the excitement I used to feel.
Stick with the writing. Everything else is secondary.

He is. π I was blown away that he could sing /all/ the parts, including the falsetto.
