Plotagon is an animation app that’s a bit like the SIMS, but you can get quite creative with the storytelling and editing. So here’s a scene using a new skill I just learned:
Enjoy. π

-grin- Thanks Chris! I’d seen it done but couldn’t work out how it was done. Then today the penny dropped. lol. Wish I could do the fade in/fade out thing though. No idea how to get the ‘Effects’ thing that seems to allow it. -shrug-

Oh. My. God…you have so many! I had no idea. Love ‘Let’s Boogie’. What software did you use? And for the red carpet/green room one, you said mentioned free editing software. Any recommendations? And the voices??? Did you import voices? I’d love to be able to have an ‘Aussie’ voice. Gah…so many questions. Yoda! I need help. π

I used Evertoon for Boogie and a few others (Free for desktops, but no longer supported), I think I saw Aussie English voices available from the Plotagon store (I use Plotagon Story and bought a Golden Ticket), voices are paid for separately, or in groups. I used only the available Plotagon voices.
Free and bought green screen can be googled, but I used iMovies (free on macs). Kinemaster is bought, or a subscription. π€β€οΈπ€
You can find a group called Plotagon Extra on Facebook where Mary Bliss (an expert) myself and others show clips.

Thanks for the info, Chris. Evertoon looks like a lot of fun. Might see if it’s still available. I’ll check out the store for the voices. Just been using the bog basic stuff so far.
I don’t use Facebook any more but I’ll keep pinching ideas from your youtube channel. π

Just curious, how come you know so much about graphics ofone sort or another?

Iβve always been interested in art and a misspent youth as an apprentice led me into draughtsmanship, then Construction Site Engineering, where making and interpreting design drawings was necessary.
When I finally retired, I returned to art, but had lost the skills of hand drawing and painting, so tried out some 3D art softwares like Poser, Vue Esprit, etc, for still art. But then wanted to try animation.
I stumbled onto Evertoon and Plotagon, and loved them.

Hah! My Dad was a mechanical engineer and taught me how to draw in perspective. I’ve always loved graphics too but as a self-taught hobbyist. Only in the last couple of years have I realised I could put some of my skills to ‘use’.
I’m definitely going to check Evertoon out. π

Thanks, Audrey. I’m a perfectionist, so some of the limitations do get a little annoying, but I love being able to bring these scenes to ‘life’. π
