As an antidote to all the marketing I did over the last few days, here’s something that’s just for fun:
Yes, it’s a bright, red teapot on wheels and it sells Mulled wine, Eggnog and something called a Maple Warmer. At those prices I doubt you’d want more than one, but the concept is so lovely I think I’d splash out on an Eggnog just for the fun of being able to say that I ‘bought it from a teapot’. 😀
I don’t have much information about the photo, but you can find it on http://www.jigsawplanet.com, under the category of ‘Christmas’. The puzzle creator is known as ‘puzzleaddict2’ and the photographer is on Instagram under the moniker of @nellcavallo.
Hope this brightened your day. 🙂
cheers

Oh, I love tiny little places like that! I would have to buy something from a teapot, too. I’m puzzled about these mangoes. At first, I thought you were talking about sweet bell peppers, which I’ve heard called mangoes. But peppers don’t grow on trees, so…. ‘Splain, please! 🙂

OMG….you don’t know/have mangoes? They’re a tropical fruit with a beautiful, sweet, slightly tangy flavour. They’re immensely popular here.
This wikihow article is a bit long winded but near the end it shows how you slice a mango.

Basically, all mangoes have a long, flat seed in the middle with a thick ‘cheek’ on either side. You slice the ‘cheek’ off and then scoop out the flesh. Yum. 🙂

I had a mango in Florida, unfortunately. It was unfortunate, because the ones we get in the grocery here are not in any way comparable. I didn’t think you meant the fruit, because I didn’t know they came in all the same colors as bell peppers, and because bell peppers are called “mangoes” in a lot of American regions. Why, I don’t know. Oh, if I could grow mangoes in my yard!!!!

lol – the difference a name makes! Over here we call your ‘bell peppers’ capsicum. Sadly Melbourne is way too cold to grow mangoes too.

Yeah, me too. Was thinking about what we’d have if the idea caught on in Oz…maybe a Pims Pineapple?

I’ve yet to meet a mango I didn’t like – green in the salads, yellow in the (tomato-free) salsa, or deep orange/red for dessert (my tree has tiny little fruits that nearly all disappeared in the storm last week!).

I’ve never actually tried the green or yellow ones but I do love the orange/red ones. You have a mango tree? -cries- So envious!
