Debbie Reynolds, movie icon and mother to Carrie Fisher, died today at the age of 84. I’m sad beyond words. Do not waste a moment of your life. It’s a gift we receive only once.

Now just imagine what Carrie would be saying if there were life after death…
“I can’t even effing die without my mother trying to make it all about herself!”

lol – I’d forgotten that bit! I have the book but I need to get the DVD of the movie and watch it again. Thanks. 🙂

I read about Debbie Reynolds passing this evening. She and her son were making funeral arrangements for Carrie Fisher and Debbie had a stroke. Perhaps her daughter death was too much to bear so she followed her into Heaven. My prayers go out to the son and Carries daughter who now must plan two funerals.

Yes. Mother’s don’t ever imagine they’ll outlive their children. Perhaps it was a kindness.
