The lead up to Christmas 2016 has been grim, but I hope that from here on in, a little of humanity’s brighter side can shine through.
I don’t believe in any religion, but on a good day, I still believe in humanity. Let’s show that the Naked Ape is capable of more than just hate. Hate destroys. Only Hope has to power to build a better future.
May this Holiday Season be full of Hope, Charity and most of all, Joy.
I am the kind of person who always has to know why things are the way they are so my interests range from genetics and biology to politics and what makes people tick.
For fun I play online mmorpgs, read, listen to a music, dance when I get the chance and landscape my rather large block.
Work is writing. When a story I am working on is going well I'm on cloud nine. On bad days I go out and dig big holes...

“I donโt believe in any religion, but on a good day, I still believe in humanity.” I’m with you on that, except in my case, it would have to be a *really* good day, so this was an especially needed post for me today! It’s something that was needed for all of us, actually. Thanks for posting this, and know everyone here joins you in shining the light brighter in the coming year.
if you believe in humanity. then surely you believe in a religion Because no religion is less than humanity. You believe but you don’t know itself.

I love your idea and the feeling behind it. I needed the post as I had just read how Richard Spencer, leader of the white supremacy nationalistic movement, had his followers and fellow believers attack the jewish residents of a small Montana town. The things said made me sick. They horrified me that humans felt saying that against another person was OK. I hope things get better, I wish that the hate and anger would dissipate. Best happy wishes. Hugs
They’re partying, Scottie, because they can. For now. But a country can’t run on hate or it’ll tear itself apart so the TanneD Crusader will have to wind them back in to save himself. I just hope it’s very, very soon.

Thanks, Candace. Fingers crossed for next year. If we could see the Berlin Wall fall and Apartheid end, without a bloodbath, WE can do anything. ๐
