Kathryn has been a blogging friend for some time, and she was the person who helped promote a bunch of us on Twitter. She was generous to a fault, and I can’t believe she’s gone. Caught up in my own life I did not even know until just now.
Thank you Kathryn. You were strong, and brave, and you helped bring MCS to the public eye. Your book, ‘Allergic to life’ was an eye opener to me, and I’m not even sick.
I will try to keep your message going because only by sharing your story can we begin to change the toxic world you lived in. You were the canary in the mines, and the mines killed you.
I will never forget you. Thank you for being my friend.
love

Ah Meeks, it’s so sad to lose a friend, and no less difficult in the virtual realm I’ve found, where they become an inherent part of day-to-day life. I still think of my friend Christine, she continues to inspire me, as Kathryn will you I’m sure.

Yes, Kathryn felt no less real just because she was an online friend. And her ‘ghost’ is still trying to help us [in the form of her automated tweets]. I feel very strange every time I see one of them in my inbox, and yet I dread the day someone turns them off for good.

Hi Meeka
I kinda like the auto tweet thing as it feels as if she’s tweeting us from heaven. The day after I found out she died i woke up quite upset, turned on my computer, and right there was a tweet from her. I tweeted back that i missed her and that her book, Allergic to Life, was awesome. I like that the last time I spoke with her she introduced me to your blog 🙂
Cheers

-hugs- Hi Miche. Welcome to my blog. It’s lovely to meet one of Kathryn’s friends. I’m not sure how I feel about the auto tweets. On the one hand they keep me reminded of her and of what a great person she was. On the other…they remind me she’s gone.
I’m still having trouble believing it so maybe getting those reminders is a good thing.

Oh my! This is terrible news. I didn’t know her as well as you, but I’d grown fond of her posts and her presence on the Internet. She will be missed.

Thank you. Still in shock as her auto tweet thing is still working. Every time I see her name come up, it’s a wrench. She was a lovely person.
