It’s always easier to do nothing, to just drift, but that’s not living is it?
Start the rest of your life by watching this video. The language is German but there are English sub-titles. Go on, you’ll thank me [and The PinkAgendist who introduced me to this clip].
I am the kind of person who always has to know why things are the way they are so my interests range from genetics and biology to politics and what makes people tick.
For fun I play online mmorpgs, read, listen to a music, dance when I get the chance and landscape my rather large block.
Work is writing. When a story I am working on is going well I'm on cloud nine. On bad days I go out and dig big holes...

I watched this yesterday and just thought, Wow, what memory. How did she remember all this and not one slip up.I confess I had problems following the poem itself but speed reading was never my thing. Certain phrases resonated though.
One day we’ll be old.

I never, ever thought I’d react the way I did, especially to poetry in another language, with subtitles! Yet by the end I felt as if my nice comfortable rug had been pulled out from under me. Amazing.

I am old. I was told so on the weekend, but you know I don’t mind. I like it. And I’m working on the stories, living them, and writing them.

I think my brain speeded up along with the subtitles. As I’m ‘old’ already I’m taking this to mean I’d better get off my butt before I get decrepit!
