I was just taking a coffee break, quietly browsing you know. And guess what I found?

The only thing wrong with Wildstar is that it isn’t out yet. It hasn’t even gone to open beta testing yet. π¦
The closest thing I could find to a release date was “later in 2013”. My guess is Christmas. -sigh-
Still, I’d rather wait and have the game stable than have it released too soon, and have to suffer a million bugs and glitches.
So there you have it. A game with the potential to give me everything I want, more or less. Not sure how I’m going to enjoy the cartoon-like characters, but I’m prepared to be flexible. π
cheers

Hey! Another gamer. Welcome. π I think it’s going to be fantastic too. I’ve signed up for the beta but not being in a guild will probably go against my inclusion. Still hoping though. Hope to see you in Wildstar eventually!

I’m not a gamer, and I don’t really know why. Probably because if I went down that rabbit hole, I would get sucked in never to return π

That is the danger, yes. I was totally addicted to my very first MMO and it has literally taken me 10 years to get to the point where I can ration my gaming. But then it is my one naughty leisure time activity so I don’t feel /too/ guilty. π

The art is reminiscent of WoW. But it does have some promise. The video looked sweet.

Yes, that artwork did put me off just a tad but I love the humour. If that carries over into the gameplay I’ll be happy. And I really liked the idea of the Path options. I’ll let you know if I get in the beta.

I’m surprised you haven’t applied to be part of the beta-testing just so you can get a taster.

Hm. Could this be the Unreal Engine game ncsoft said that they are making? If yes, then it’s going to run fine on almost any machine.

Checked it a bit. They say its a custom one. Well i hope they do a kick as gameplay mechanic. People still prefer GW1 over GW2 just because of the gameplay.

I could never get into GW1 so I don’t know. What I’d like is something like Age of Wushu but without the pvp.

The developer is Carbine and the specs for the beta sign up mentioned 64 bit architecture… but I have my new 64 bit pc on order. π Any day now. And it will include a solid state hd plus an ATI Radeon vid card. Just don’t ask me which one – I’ve forgotten already. Oh and quad core. π -cough- I’ll stop gushing now but I’ll send you the full specs once I get it. π
