The Cuddlies – a new award

Wednesday morning greetings from the Antipodes! If you’re just going to bed or having lunch then goodnight and good appetite respectively ๐Ÿ˜€ I do however hope that two special people are still awake and/or at their computers because this post is inspired by both of them.

Daud [aka Lord David Prosser] and Missy [aka Littlemissobsessivesanatomy] ย both nominated me for awards recently and I’ve been scratching my head for a way to express my thanks in a way that would be a little bit different.

Both of these bloggers are kind, generous people, the sort of people you just want to hug – which ties in nicely with Daud’s Buthidars –ย  so I hit on the idea of creating a new award. The official name is ‘Cuddly Blogger Award’ but I just call it the Cuddly.

Now Cuddlies are going to be a little bit different to normal awards. Instead of recipients having to say 7 things about themselves they have to relate just one incident that made them want to reach out and hug someone. Whether they actually followed through with the hug is not important. Just wanting to is enough.

And, of course, recipients should then nominate 5 kind, generous people themselves.

As the very first recipients of the Cuddlies I’m hoping Daud and Missy get busy spreading the love ๐Ÿ˜€

On bad days I go out and dig big holes... View all posts by acflory
