Kat Brooks [also known as the 'blurb doctor] from Indies Unlimited just pointed out that the blurb I posted about Vokhtah on Amazon makes the book sound like alien erotica. And she’s right. I’m blushing bright red just thinking about it.
I’ve fixed things up but the edits will take another 12 hours to kick in, so I’m praying no-one reads that awful boo boo in the meantime. Alien erotica was not my intent. -sigh-
My heartfelt thanks to Kat for saving me from an awful lot of embarrassment, not to mention the odd, disappointed reader!
cheers
Meeks

Ack! Well, at least you have the best possible blurb doctor. She is a trained professional, you know.

I think I’ve read one of Kat’s posts on blurbs but it would have been a while ago. She does know her stuff doesn’t she? Fate was smiling on me today.

I just checked it out and I spose it does sound a bit like erotica. I’m not normally a sci fi reader, but I am intrigued now, will be buying very shortly. Stay tuned for my review.

Yup.
I didn’t see it until it was pointed out to me and then I just about went through the floor. One of those awful ‘oh my god, what have I done?’ moments.
I’m looking forward to your review, especially as you’re not a sci-fi reader. Fingers crossed that you like it
If there are bits that worry you please tell me.

I must be slipping up if I let that one by and I read it too. Maybe I’m just past it ? I hope things are going well and you’re getting a lot of attention.
Hugs xxxx

lol – I think we must both be past it David. And thanks but until the new blurb is up I rather hope I don’t get any attention!

Yup. Next time before I publish a blurb I will definitely be asking for feedback!
